The Alpine Kiwanis Club, the Alpine Mountain Empire Chamber of Commerce and the Alpine Community Center are joining forces to bring a 4th of July Parade and family friendly Carnival to our town. We invite you and your organization to join us in this cooperative effort to bring a much needed 4th of July celebration to Alpine and its surrounding areas. Below are forms to join the parade or be a sponsor. All vendor booth spaces are now filled.
World War II veterans Fred Higginbotham and Bill Ridenour, both Honorary members of the Alpine Veterans Wall of Honor will be our Grand Marshals.
Participants will check in at the Alpine Women's Club at 8:30 a.m. for staging. The roads will close at 9:00 a.m. The parade will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. with a flyover of the Buecker Squadron's decorated refurbished World War II biplanes and the ringing of church bells. It will travel about a half mile down Alpine Blvd. and end at the Alpine Community Center Park, home of the Alpine Veterans Wall of Honor.
That's when Alpine's 1st ever 4th of July Carnival will begin with live country western music by Dannie Marie, a former Alpine resident. We will also enjoy a Deep Pit BBQ by the Knights of Columbus, lots of vendor booths with games and snacks, a petting zoo, a Bounce House, kid's games, a dunk tank, and a beer garden to name a few of the attractions.
