The Kiwanis Club of Alpine is part of a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.
Alpine Kiwanis Foundation Secretary/Treasurer Dick Brown and Alpine Kiwanis Club President Dan Foster congratulate our 2009 Kiwanis Alpine Challenge Scholarship recipient Kristine George on a job well done!
We are the third largest Kiwanis Club in our District (California, Nevada and Hawaii), and have established a reputation for excellence within Kiwanis International as one of the largest and most active clubs.
We were named "Organization of the Year" at the 2008 Alpine Leadership and Public Service Awards. We are known not only for our service to the children of the world, especially those living in Alpine, but also for our camaraderie and fellowship, and for the fun we have making our community a better place for everyone.

500 riders participated in our recent 2009 Alpine Challenge - our 2nd biggest fundraiser!
One of the organizations we support is Rady Children's Hospital. Our club has donated over $736,000 to them since 1986!

4th of July Parade

The Kiwanis Club of Alpine is always an important part of this parade with our flag group. We have also been asked to erect a few of our tents to provide needed shade. Staging of the parade will be at 9 a.m. and it will begin at 10 a.m. All of the children of Alpine have been invited to be part of it, and we need lots of spectators, too! We will also need volunteers at 6 a.m. and at 2 p.m. for setup and tear-down of our tents. Stay tuned as additional volunteer needs are identified. Hope to see you there!
