Please join the fun at our 2011 Special Olympics East County Track Meet!

The parent of a special athlete recently stated, "Special Olympics has done more to help my son than anything else he's been involved with."

Date:              Saturday, March 12th, 2011 (rain date March 19th)
Time:              8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (ending time approximate)

Place:             West Hills High School
                      8756 Mast Blvd., Santee

Volunteers, please arrive by 7:30 a.m.  West Hills has strict rules to protect the track and field: you must be wearing rubber soled shoes (i.e. tennis shoes) and water is the only beverage allowed.

Volunteers are needed to:
1) Assist at the track and field events
2) Act as buddies for the athletes (this is the most fun)
3) Set up and take down the tents, tables, etc.
4) Cheer the athletes on, either in the bleachers or on the field
