Alpine
Serving the Children of the World

They made a choice. A choice to fight for what they believe in, a choice to defend what they love.  The men and women who joined the armed services, who put their lives on hold and risked everything, deserve our undying honor and respect. Let us never forget those who had the courage to put everything on the line to protect our way of life.

Now we have a chance to honor these heroes from Alpine and the Mountain Empire. With your contribution, the Veterans Wall of Honor will go up at the corner of the Alpine Community Center, prominently displayed on Alpine Boulevard. A space to immortalize the names of those from our community who have proudly served. A space of peace and reflection, of thanks and honor, for all future generations to respect and admire.

WOULDN'T YOU LIKE TO BE PART OF HONORING OUR VETERANS?

Now, you can purchase a Tile to be placed on the Veterans Wall of Honor or a Brick to be placed on the Veterans Walk of Honor when the wall is built.  Download a Tile or Brick Order form here.  For more details on what can be engraved on the Tile or Brick, please download our Tile and Brick Purchase Application here.

Veterans Wall of Honor Committee Members Bob Jackson, Fernando Gonzalez, Larry Curtis and Chairman Dan Foster prepare to mount the sign at the Wall's future location at the Alpine Community Center.

The vision of Alpine Kiwanis Past President Dan Foster, working in collaboration with the Alpine Community Center and the Viejas Band of Kumeyaay Indians is about to become a reality!

All donations should be made payable to the Alpine Community Center, a 501 (c) (3) corporation and are deductible as a charitable contribution.  The ACC has created a Wall of Honor Advisory Committee and will assure that all funds donated are spent for developing, designing, building and maintaining the Wall of Honor.  Please designate that your contribution is for the “Wall of Honor.”
