Alpine
Serving the Children of the World

The Alpine Kiwanis Cook Shack has served Alpine and East County for more than 20 years, and has become a community fixture at all kinds of community events including parade, school fundraisers, Special Olympics, Little League and even feeding firefighters more than once!  However it has seen better days and needs to be retired.

Recently, Dr. John Hackett, DVM, donated a beautiful new trailer equipped with stainless steel counters, a modern sink and much more, but unfortunately, it has no hot food capability.  It will cost more than $15,000 to make the modifications necessary to meet our needs.  In order to raise this money, we are holding a Draw Down Raffle on September 11, 2010 at the Alpine Community Center.

We will be selling only 150 raffle tickets at $100 each, and there will be many possible prizes you can win, including the Grand Prize of this 1972 VW Convertible, also donated by Dr. Hackett.

For more information, please visit our dedicated Kiwanis Raffle Website where you can purchase tickets for dinner and learn more about the details of this extremely fun event!
